I have a TS-7260 that I am trying to set up with an external USB drive (laptop
drive) to store data on for my board, however I have an issue when I plug the
drive into the USB the board reboots and completely hard locks (both red and
green lights come on and stay solid).
I have tried two separate adapters for both a SATA and IDE laptop drive (size
range 80 - 150 Gigs).
Interestingly enough, the board immediately continues to boot and function
properly if I unplug the usb drive, I dont even have to reset it.
Could this be a power issue? Do the laptop drives try to pull to much power
through the USB adapters? Or is there no way to even do this?
Thank you very much for your help!
