I gave up using wvdial as it seems it is not properly ported to ARM. This post
gives a hint of the problem:
"wvdial seems unusable on armel due to reliance on the unimplemented sysv
ucontext API in glibc"
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wvstreams/+bug/383978
I don't know if this was resolved. I seem to remmber it was possible to
compile the code by commenting out various things that turned out to be crucial
to proper operation of the program - so divide by zero would seem to a symptom
of this.
I don't use the TS7260, just the TS7250 and TS7550, but never got wvdial
working. I stuck to pppd.
