OK Angel.
As I understood (from what I read in the manual), if only the jumper 2 is connected, you access the console by port ttyAM0, and if the jumpers 2 and 4 are connected, you access the console by port ttyAM1. Am I correct?
And if I want to use the port ttyAM0 as a simple RS232 port, I commented the line:
#lgn0:12345:respawn:/sbin/getty -L 115200 ttyAM0
on the inittab file.
But, the port doesn't work. Is there any way to know if the port is working? Any particular command?
