Just my two cents (to the total discussion of TS and support and not really specific to any particular comments).... This does seem like a fairly legitimate response (and at the very least it IS a response and not technically "ignoring" the question... still I feel your pain). Although I have had some frustration with the boards (and documentation) from time to time I guess I understand the response and their position that they cannot support every issue of a nearly limitless supply. I originally looked into their boards because of how they worded their support of rtai (a real time interface). Well... they didn't exactly "support" it rather than have it available... but in the end it did work and I had success with it. But you need to put things in perspective. For instance when I started working with rtai there was another option -- RTLinux. rtai is in itself a lot like some of the stuff provided by TS. It's there and you can use it... and it may work for you and it may not. I could have payed RTLinux $5000 for a development seat but I choose to go where I did. So we can pay more (or even pay TS) or we can benefit from the lower cost and the satisfaction of joining the open source community and understanding we need to be smarter than the average bear (or at least with the hope that one of the smarter bears answers a post). I will say that this group has been invaluable to me... it has given me insight into many things. Things not always related to the TS line itself. But it does focus on the embedded side of life very well. wrote on 04/14/2009 09:17:47 AM: > "alanbarton69" <> > Subject > [ts-7000] Re: EmbeddedARM support?? > > I recently asked TS Tech support: > I am cross compiling from both a WinXP and Linux Development PCs > to a TS-7250 board running TS-Linux.
