That's exactly why TS doesn't use the internal WDT and decided to 
implement it in the CPLD.  At the time the TS-72xx was designed the 
ep9302 hardware TS had had this bug.  AFAIK all the new board have the 
later revision chips that have the hardware fix and the internal WDT can 
now be trusted but to be sure check the rev on your specific board's CPU.
