Hi -
The ep9302 has an internal watchdog timer, detailed in Chapter 19 of
the new (combined) ep93xx manual (or chapter 15 of the old manual).
Also, bit 15 of the PwrStat register at 0x8093_0000 (page 5.14) is
WDTFLG:
"This bit is set if the WDT resets the system. It is cleared by
writing to the STFClr location. It is reset to 0".
In theory then, it may be possible to know if the internal WDT
caused the reboot. In practice, though, you would want to verify
that redboot or the WDT driver did not zero the STFClr register, and
remove your evidence as part of the boot process.
I don't know if you are using the internal one or an external
circuit. ISTR there are some bad hardware errata with this WDT, and
that's why some boards use an external circuit. Maybe that's why TS
doesn't use it or recommend it.
