Thanks for the background, but I'm still slightly confused. There
are many ARM devices now in recent linux kernels that _do_ support
SD cards, without any NDA restrictions (Atmel AT91, Motorola i.MX,
etc.), as you've probably seen with your recent 2.6.21 testing.
How can other HW be supported by free drivers, yet your hands be
tied (with your own FPGA core even)? If the protected info becomes
publically available, say now, several years after you executed the
NDA, are you still restricted in its use?
Will the TS-7800 have similar restrictions?
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you are supporting SD in some way at
least, and don't mind binary modules where absolutely necessary.
But many linux supporters don't share that view.

I see the TS-7800 is up on the website and in print ads. Do you
have an estimated release date?
