I had the same problem. I think it has to do the terminal settings regarding 
Control-C. I tried using stty to change some settings but it didn't seem to 
help. The only way I could use Control-C to stop part of the boot process was 
when I used Telix from a DOS box in Windows. Fortunately, my need to stop the 
boot process early went away.

I later noticed that the schematic for the TS-7250 board mentioned that 
installing a certain jumper would also do the same thing as using Control-C.
