Hi

Having accidentally managed to hose the ts-linux kernel on my 7260, I
need to restore things to the status quo ante.

Naturally (having been a good boy and read the doco :-) I decided to
follow the instructions and load the kernel by issuing the appropriate
commands in RedBoot.

However, in spite of having rebooted a gazillion times, I have still
not managed to interrupt RedBoot using ctrl+C to get it to drop into
the command line.

According to the doco, this has to be done "within 1 second after
power up", but even holding down the ctrl and c keys permanently fails
to achieve the necessary goal :-(

(BTW, I am using HyperTerminal on a PC and have ensured that it is
operating in "terminal keys" mode)

However what is intriguing is that during the boot sequence, a message
is posted saying "Executing boot script in 0.100 seconds - enter ^C to
abort". If this is really the case - and it certainly seems so - then
the chances of catching the "abort window" are very low.

Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any thoughts/help which are kind
enough to be offered.

Many thank in advance.
