Dear Eddie,
    now my jumper settings are as follows,
IRQ1-on
IRQ2-on
IRQ4-on
IRQ8-on

so from the manual IRQ should be 15 but it was set to 40 so I even change it using setserial commamd to 15, it still sending data out very slowly. Bunch by bunch with a 2s delay. I need to use this all serial ports. following are the settings. pls help me.

$ setserial /dev/tts/0
/dev/tts/0, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x89c003f8, IRQ: 15
$ setserial /dev/tts/1
/dev/tts/1, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x89c002f8, IRQ: 33
$ setserial /dev/tts/2
/dev/tts/2, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x89c003e8, IRQ: 40
$ setserial /dev/tts/3
/dev/tts/3, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x89c002e8, IRQ: 33

Thanks,
Damith

Hello,

> I change IRQ and the problem is still the same. Data comming out from TS-SER4 in very low speed. Is there other settings that has to be changed? Pls let me know as soon as possible.

In my last email I said your problem sounded like your IRQs were not properly
configured. I said this because you said there was a 1 second delay between
sending data and actually seeing any data being send. If you are still seeing
this behavoir then please answer the following questions.

What are your jumper settings? What is the outputs of setserial /dev/tts/n
where n is the serial port you are writing to.

With regard to your comment about the baud rates not being correct, how are
you coming to this conclusion? What baud rate are you expecting and what
baud rate are you seeing? Is you program reconfiguring the baud rate?
