f the Olympus LS10, but the cable is only 4 feet long and there is no way, =
I am told by Gradus/B&H, to add an extension to boost the signal.
I have been extending PIP mics up to 100=E2=80=99 for many years. I have a =
whole 4-channel surround-sound recording system originally built around Shu=
re 183s and now using quieter Telinga Clip-Ons (disclosure: I am a Telinga =
dealer).
Since the source impedance of PIP mics is around 3K ohms, there will be a l=
ittle roll-off of the very top end with ordinary cables. Use low-capacity c=
oaxial cable if you want to reduce that, tho in practice I have to say it d=
oesn=E2=80=99t matter.
