> When you mentioned =E2=80=98throwing the right channel way=E2=80=99, does=
that then transfer the sound to both ears? I have copied the file to the =
right channel in Audacity using the drop down menu to the left of the wavef=
orm
I don=E2=80=99t use Audacity, so I can=E2=80=99t give you specific instruct=
ions for that. If I had a stereo file in which one channel was junk, I woul=
d use a handy utility called =E2=80=9CDe-interleaver=E2=80=9D to split it i=
nto two mono files. I=E2=80=99d throw the useless one away and import the g=
ood one into my DAW as a mono file, then pan it center to the stereo output=
s.
Unfortunately I don=E2=80=99t find it on Scott Wilson=E2=80=99s site any mo=
re. I or another DAW-driver could send it to you.
No problem duplicating a file for stereo, but if it=E2=80=99s a mono file t=
here=E2=80=99s no need to use double the storage space.
