nable to slide it off due to a lip. Not wanting to face desoldering and res=
oldering i spent the next hour+ slowly nibbling away at the metal housing w=
ith some tin snips, four blisters later and the housings were cut free. New=
housing was required, luckily the lid of a marker pen i had was exactly th=
e right size to snugly slip over the capsules, i then filled the hollow tub=
e with rubber silicon and slid a rubber stopper down the cable to plug the =
back side.
