I was looking at the battery life of the DR680 and it appears that I would need
to get an external power supply (Bixnet BP160) if I wanted to run the recording
all night since the DR680 only has a 4 hour battery life.
This made me wonder that perhaps I should just get the Olympus LS-100 since it
has a 12 hour battery life. I was only planning on recording 2 channels
anyways.
Aside from the DR680 having 2dbu better input noise, are there other factors
that make the DR680 more superior then the LS-100?
Thanks.
