Many thanks to everyone in the group that commented on my questions and 
concerns.  I really appreciate the input.  I also had positive input from the 
audio technicians at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC Radio & 
Television) and a few others that use Marantz at a professional level -- I 
ordered the PMD661-MKII last week, it should be in this week. I am convinced I 
will have made the right decision.  Can't wait to start using it.
