No question that the Telinga SSM system was noticeably quieter than the DPA=
s. And the imaging of the SSMs was impressive, too.
The DPAs are probably good for those planning a long backcountry hike and w=
here the measured grams of weight one carries are crucial. Even with the XL=
R connectors two mics weigh around 60 grams. And with Dan's shoulder muff w=
ind protection solution, they're one of many good options.
