> Agreed Dan, I would probably say that it's a 25db attenuation figure > is more realistic/true. Different ears, different attenuation. Measure this by generating noise at +25 and 0 from a loudspeaker and listen with and without the cans on. You can even check this at different frequency bands. Easy. :-) PS with high excluding cans try this with your mouth open and closed - sometimes it makes a difference. Not many people know that. I discovered this while eating on the job.
