Happy hundredth birthday, John Cage. Congratulations to all who knew and/or=
 learned from this wonderful man.



To commemorate this day, I wrote some short texts. I hope it's okay to shar=
e one with you-- a verbal =E2=80=9Cpassacaglia=E2=80=9D-- and provide a lin=
k to the others.

centennial anniversary. Gaudeamus. Everything

changes. Avant garde-ist enters

chamber (anechoic), gets ears

cleaned. Afterwards generally employs

cointosses and graphs events

chronologically=E2=80=94audible gleanings egolessly

composed, anarchistically generated. Everything

changes. Aural gnosis experienced.

Chance actions generating ephemeral

compositions and gaining emptiness,

challenging all givens. Everything

changes. A great experimenter

come and gone. Eternity=E2=80=A6
