Slightly off topic: I know theory says to remove the delays between multiple
mics for coherency. I find every time I've done that the sense of depth
collapses. The clients & I always prefer the non-time-corrected version. I
might move one pair forward or back a few milliseconds if the combs are making
for an undesirable timbre, but generally the greatly different ambience in the
near vs distant pairs makes that a bit of a non-issue.
