I have an iPad 2 for music production there are several editing apps that a=
re ready to be used. So far I have settled on the music studio app that doe=
s many channels (up to 24 i think) in addition to garage band that does 8 c=
hannels. I am interested to know who is making a 24 bit app if you have mor=
e information.=0D
The music studio app lite is free and the multitarack app is under $ 20 Gar=
ageBand is $4.99.=0D
Presently I am using the Alesis I/o dock that supplies phantom and some pre=
tty clean mic pres in 1 dock that the iPad slides in to. It does use a wall=
wart but batteries are an option as the interface powers the iPad also.=0D
Happy recording=0D
