Help! I have just set up a new desktop computer with a Soundblaster X-f: = Xtreme Audio sound card. I am using Adobe Auditions 1.5 for my sound editing. I am importing sound from my Portadisc MDP 500 or my SV 3260 DAT= through Optical IN. (this seems to be the only option with this sound card). However, the recordings, when played back through my computer, sound "spe= eded up". For vocal it is like someone has taken a slight puff of Helium gas. T= he imported recordings sound fine when listened through the DAT or Minidisc. Is there someway to "slow down" the imported sounds. Sorry for suc= h an amateur description, but any ideas would be most welcome. John John V. Moore Nature Recordings www.johnvmoorenaturerecordings.com |
