I got one to use as my rear-channels preamp for my Sound Devices 744T. I co= nnect a New Trent USB battery to the USB port for power, which runs it for = 20 hours. When there is no computer connected it automatically is in stand-= alone mode. I connect it to the digital input for channels 3-4 with an RCA = to BNC cable.
