Another portable power solution appears to be the Energizer XP4001, part of the company's Energi to Go series. The XP4001 has two 5V DC ports that provide power to USB specs. Two ports would allow you to simultaneously power the USBPre and a small recorder like the M-Audio Microtrack II. The XP4001 employs a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery rated at 4000 mAh, which should be enough juice to power the two devices mentioned above for about 4 hours.
