Howdy all,
After reading all the good input this morning about making audio files
available on the Internet and exploring all the optons, I decided that
"4shared" seem to meet my needs for a newcomer just starting out. Its a
learning process to be sure...
I looked at Howard's web site, Very nice Howard, that almost swayed my
decision however it really boils down to how much effort I want to put into=
a website at this point, and having done three in the past for different
purposes, I'd rather be in the field with binocs, camera, and recorder...
Soundcloud also looked like a good setup, however for the simplicity of
setting up and getting MP3 files accesable, "4shared" is where I decided to=
get started.
Part of my decision besides simplicity, "4shared" is set up such that I
should be able to put some of my bird photographs with the sound files.
Eventually, as time allows I'll create species subfolders and have both
sounds and images for each species as my collection grows...
For now, to get started, I have generated a "Wildlife" folder and put eight=
MP3 files in it made this past week with the new LS-11 recorder.
This is the link: http://www.4shared.com/dir/UTASxktL/wildlife.html
If you all would take a minute to have a look and listen to a few of these=
files, I need to know, 1st, does the public access work?
Are you able to download any of the files?
This site also provides streaming audio playing, that I can test from here=
and it seems to work fine...
And as this is a new recorder and I'm new at this, please let me know how
my recordings sound?
Thank you for your assistance,

'Til later...
Mitch
