You know, I asked just that very question about the K6/ME66 a couple of months back and received the unexpected reply that the self-noise was the same powered either way. I would welcome further information on this point. Has anyone actually tested this? I would imagine so, since it is a very popular microphone. I will be buying one (or not) based on the results. -- robin |
