Humm.

I'm somewhat tolerable under supervision with a soldering iron, but am
loathe to take on finicky/tricky connectors...

...anyone want to take on making me the requisite cable as a paid side
project? Write me off-list and quote me a rate, exclusive of parts
which of course I could acquire and provide... :)

Incidentally the part SD's manual quotes a Digikey part number for is
now obsolete at Digikey. But apparently they are still selling them at
a modest markup themselves. Inquired at the SD forums if there's a
known replacement; there are a few at Digikey that look like
candidates...

(I know, I know, hardly the DIY spirit, but I was moved off mission
critical soldering here at the day job for a reason... cough.)
