Good morning Roger,

and many thanks for your mail.
I saw on the FEL website that they have a "3.5mm plug to socket lead, gold,=
 stereo 1.5m
Gold plated plug and socket, with screened metal shells, fully individually=
 screened cable." (http://www.felmicamps.co.uk/products/felleadsandadapt..h=
tml)

I think is what you meant in your mail, isn't it?

Thanks again,

   Ric.

Stereo headphone extension cables do not usually have a sufficiently good '=
screen' to reject spurious noise if used to extend mic cables and are frequ=
ently not screened at all despite being wired to a 3.5mm TRS mini-jack/sock=
et.
A phone call to Studiospares www.studiospares. com (UK 0844 3755000) or Fe=
l Communications www.felmicamps. co.uk (UK 01932 786501) will let you spe=
cify a fully screened lead with suitable lightweight cable and professional=
 connectors.
cheers
Roger
