Consider using a photography light stand since they are light, collapse sma=
ll, and can be had for a good price.

Gets up to 2.3 M, only 1kg in weight, 67 cm closed. There are better ones w=
hich are heavier but that will allow you to start out. If you're using it o=
n a windy day, I would recommend placing something on the feet (like a sand=
bag) to prevent it from flying over.

Of course you can spend day-after-day going into thrift stores looking for =
a used tripod and maybe you will find one that works.

For what its worth, it looks like the gentleman in the video is using a lig=
ht stand.
