The first time their battery only powering will be an advantage...>> But those are cardioid, IIRC, & Decca relies on omnis to integrate a stereo image out of three fairly widely separated sources. Spaced cardioids are less coherent & more degraded phase-wise than spaced omnis. Try it, but I think the phase incoherency, i.e. mono incompatibility, will be unacceptable. Unless I'm wrong about the Nakamichis being cardioids. Scott Fraser |
