Thanks for finding the specs, and it says 48V right on the panel and
in the specs. No idea of what current capabilities it might have, and
you'd have to kluge to run the Nady on external power, but that would
not be hard.
It might be a god addition where a bit of extra gain is needed. It
would be very instructive to have it as a portable solution to the
Sound Devices 744 lacking pres on 3&4. I've been using my old Deneke
AD-20 but it lacks phantom.
Looking forward to tests if anyone is planning them!

Your mics may or may not require higher voltage, even 48 volts. None
of this means you shouldn't give it test. If you order it from
Sweetwater, they'll usually let you return if it it doesn't meet your
needs. Are you sure you need a preamp and not just a portable
phantom power supply? These are available at high (no risk) quality
for $50. Rob D.
