If you're recording in your back yard, why not just shelter your mic from the elements? You could set your rig inside and have the mic at the edge of an open window or door to record frogs and crickets...which are plenty loud. Or make a little shelter for the mics in your yard... Wouldn't recording with a condom over the mic cut out some of the highs of the critter vox? Good luck Ann |
