say that the interweaving of biophony,
geophony, anthrophony is a thesis that's just beginning to be
explored and is both simple and complex
at the same time. The more one delves into the relationships, the
more we find we need to go
yet deeper. The answers aren't clear as "nature" is very slow to
reveal her secrets. Perhaps we'll never
make the connections, nor should we. Studies of this nature are
currently underway at two Big Ten
universities in the US: Michigan State University (Envirosonics
Department), and Purdue (Dept of Forestry),
where this thesis is currently being taught and embraced. Those
venues probably could address
your questions more thoroughly.
