Here are the major disciplines relevant to Schafer's concept of the soundscape and which have been further developed as a result of the three soundscape components developed by Prof. Stuart Gage (Michigan State University) and myself . These will give you some idea of how curricula are being developed around this subject in academia where the holistic view of sound and its effects are taken seriously and in depth. This is what we're currently working on. |
