It is not just for the 744, I should have stated that, its also for the
Nagra Ares P11+.

Yes the 744 and the 722 has great MS decoding, the MP2 did too but I
foolishly let one of those go a few years ago..

Setting 4 channels using the MIXPRE and the 744 in my mind feels a little
unbalanced, I like the idea of using all the level controls on the one
machine, has anyone used one?

Couldn't you just handle all the MS decoding stuff onboard the 744t?
