I find that I can do a better job placing the mics with my ears than judging the situation while monitoring MS. I like to hear how each mic is responding so I monitor LR when it come to final tweaks. I try to safely utilize all the bits I can from both mics and often the dynamics will permit very good saturations. Rob D. |
