You know there is not a lot documented on frog calls like there are with
birds etc and the underwater sounds are as mysterious as the bats that call
in the stratosphere.
This may be one of the many calls of the Pacific tree-frog; I have found
many different calls over the last year... What amazes me about frogs is
that they use the whole sound spectrum from 0 Hz up to 21,000Hz. Interestin=

Recorded 2/18/07 late afternoon in a shallow arm of Bybee Lake at
Smith and Bybee Lakes Wildlife Area, Portland Oregon. Only two frog
species expected there - pacific chorus frog and the not-native bull frog.
