Klas,
If you can fit surface mount caps between the rails, and have the
necessary solder paste and hot air soldering equipment, 1000uF 4V
tantalums are readily available in Europe from Farnell
(www.farnell.com) for about 45 - 68 Kr (about US $5-7).
