What I mean is simply this:
I cannot imagine making "ordinary good" naturrecordings with open
mic's and Edirol and MT.
But I can with Zoom and HiMd.
When I connect a pair of EM23 to the Zoom, what I hear resembles what
I hear from a HiMD.
That doesn't mean that the Zoom vs. HiMD inputs are comparable when
using a very low noise mic as NT1A.
Besides, my "good" results with Zoom is when using the inputs made
for the internal mic's. I don't know if those inputs perhaps is
better than the balanced.
When using NT1A, it makes sense to use a PRO recorder. Not a Zoom H4.
Klas.
