I bought an Church pair 2 or 3 years back, but found them rather too noisy and the pre-amp box that came with them had oversized switches which kept accidentally flicking and so ran the battery down. I've joined this group since! Attached is a short clip from a trial I did this summer to evaluate a future project. Please see the file "Church audio sample.mp3" file in the groups file area. Its quite filtered to remove excess noise. A (Winter) Wren that I also recorded around the same time sang so loudly it distorted, not through any clipping due to high a gain setting on my RH1. Now much more interested in Klas's new mic! ANDREW |
