Fwiw I'd be curious to hear the "Faulkner" technique too, which I think is
20 cm spaced and baffled Figure-8's; I discovered a discussion of by
accident recently...

When we finally ship the product I'm working on at my day job -- by summer'=
s
end I hope! --  I'm game for trying this all out with my (multipattern)
MKH-800s, which have the advantage of using the same mics in each
configuration.

I fantasize I can do it in Milwaukee collaboratively with Rob brandishing
the clipboard...! :)
