Matt, for what its' worth to my ears you may have hit the filtered version a little too hard - the flutey tone colour of the thrush seems to be less on the filtered version, and the resonance wasn't all there. But I did appreciate the reduced background noise. When I lifted the sound to match levels (by ear) the nature of the background seemed odd, in a mp3 sort of way. > One of them is the original version, the second is a filtered version > where I did both high and low pass filters (though I am not sure exactly > how those work, I kind of understand what's happening) and amplified the > result somewhat. |
