Actually its not, the european price is pretty competitive to the Sound
Devices 744 (E4000+ vs E4900) (remember the sonosax has TC!) and 4 more
channels to boot.
This device is obviously not for consumers but for pro recorders in ENG/Fil=
m
type of settings. Who would use it with a separate field mixer.

Ps all Sonosax products are very expensive, I guess their products must be
worth it.
