Just a quick introduction. I'm a composer and sound artist living in Jedbur= gh, Southern Scotland. Being Scottish I try to get by without having to spe= nd too much money on gear (looks like I'm in the right place from recent po= sts). I do a lot of field recording which I often process to create electro= acoustic work but I hope to learn a bit more about the sweet art of success= ful outdoor recording in nature. I also host/curate events relating to soun= d and sound art. Some of you might be interested in an open call for record= ed pieces at:- http://www.jameswyness.org.uk/sound_cafe.htm Sincerely James Wyness www.jameswyness.org.uk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
