Yeah, I know ... <ka-ching!> ... thanks for helping me make up
my mind (like I needed help). I'll be the best-equipped
shopping-cart bum in the area.

Perhaps after I finish the sound edit and final mix of this
indie short that fell in my lap (wrapped in newspaper, not
$100's), I'll celebrate with a big dent in my savings account
and a 722 in my lap.

Allen it is not insane! In fact known for a fact to bring great
joy and
wildly fine recordings, without hiss or noise or other
artifacts.
Financial side effects are of course a more personal thing...

I would not wait for a variation - they are still refining the
firmware
and updates are a regular thing, so the 7XX just get better!
