Hi all, I hope to be able to do some field recording with a 4 channels recording system (laptop + MOTU Traveller). What is the best I could do with such a system ? One of my ideas is to use two low-noise omnis, or cardioids, to get the whole soundscape, and two shotguns to point in the direction where I expect to hear the sounds I'm interested in (deers). What else I could do ? Gianni PS: if I'll succeed in my program I'll post a summary -------------------------------------------------------------- Gianni Pavan Email Centro Interdisciplinare di Bioacustica e Ricerche Ambientali Universita' degli Studi di Pavia Via Taramelli 24, 27100 PAVIA, ITALIA Tel +39-0382-987874 Fax +39-02-700-32921 Web http://www.unipv.it/cibra ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
