Well Martyn and Chuck Bragg think Bewick's Wren and Antonio Celis Song Sparrow. I have a little experience with both species, but not a whole lot. After comparing the spectra and listening to the songs of these two bird (that I recorded in California) with Mark's levee bird, I would vote, with hand hel= d only part way up, Bewick's Wren. I'll bet Kevin Colver could nail this bird. I'll copy him with this and hopefully get his attention. Jim |
