I'll have a go...

I think it may be a Bewick's wren, it certainly holds out like one, or the
song sparrow call with that decisive trill "tea kettle ettle ettle"

Subject: [Nature Recordists] mystery bird

Dear all,

I'm trying to find a 'mystery bird' that I was able to record in the
pre-dawn hours (not enough light to see, even when he's only 20 feet
away) here on the Sacramento river last Spring. If you have a sec',
listen to:

http://aguasonic.com/Sounds/levee_bird1.mp3

and

http://aguasonic.com/Sounds/levee_bird2.mp3

If you recognize the singer, please let me know.

Thank you,

Mark
