I thought too Rob that it seemed too centered when I played it from the
website as apposed to the original recording, I have adjusted the settings
and re-posted it, it sounds like the original now!
Sounds do get lost when re-sampling and converting but that's the penalty
when you have such limited web space :(

Love the range of amplitudes of the elements Martyn! Creates a
wonderful perspective of volumes. The description says,"  Modified
SASS Microphone using Sennheiser MKH-20's  and the ID tag on the file
says "joint stereo." I'm curious, is this the typical stereo field
with this rig? It seems quite centered. When I inverse the phase on
one channel it spreads out a little bit but it still seems like there
could be more spread to the stereo image.   I mention it because it
might just be a setting in your post software.  Congrats on the
recording! Rob D.
