RME is rumored to release wdm drivers in the next major driver
release. It will not do 5.1 from mediaplayer yet. It is weak as a
computer sound card because it will not support low sample and bit
rates either. But when you want high quality record and playback it
sure does sound good.
The prior posts started me watching media player again but the
capabilities for presentations, Library, and training is what really
woke me up.
