Dear All:

File sizes of uncompressed PCM files can be computed roughly from first
principles:

sampling at 44,100 per second, in stereo x2, 16 bits (=3D2 bytes) =3D 176,4=
00
bytes per second.
x 60 =3D  10,584,000 per minute -- call it an even ten megs.

So a 10 gig disc would hole 1000 minutes
20 gig would be 2000 minutes, about 16 hours,
40 gig would be 4000 minutes, about 32 hours, etc.
